• Throughout the ages, Father in Heaven has inspired select men and women to find, through the guidance of the Holy Ghost, solutions to life’s most perplexing problems.
• They (The scriptures) can become the key to open the channel to communion with our Father in Heaven and His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ.
• They can become stalwart friends that are not limited by geography or calendar.
• It is like discovering a new individual who can help in time of need, give inspiration and comfort, and be a source of motivation for needed change.
• They have potent power to heal emotional challenges when there is faith in the Savior. They can accelerate physical healing.

The Eternal Blessings of Marriage: "The temple sealing has greater meaning as life unfolds. It will help you draw ever closer together and find greater joy and fulfillment."

• Don’t withhold those natural expressions of love. And it works a lot better if you are holding her close while you tell her.
• Pure love is an incomparable, potent power for good. Righteous love is the foundation of a successful marriage. It is the primary cause of contented, well-developed children.
• Marriage provides an ideal setting for overcoming any tendency to be selfish or self-centered.

The Transforming Power of Faith and Character : "A consistent, righteous life produces an inner power and strength that can be permanently resistant to the eroding influence of sin and transgression."

• When faith is properly understood and used, it has dramatically far-reaching effects.
• Such faith can transform an individual’s life from maudlin, common everyday activities to a symphony of joy and happiness.
• But true faith, faith unto salvation, is centered on the Lord Jesus Christ, faith in His doctrines and teachings, faith in the prophetic guidance of the Lord’s anointed, faith in the capacity to discover hidden characteristics and traits that can transform life.
• Faith and character are intimately related.
• Your exercise of faith in true principles builds character; fortified character expands your capacity to exercise more faith. As a result, your capacity and confidence to conquer the trials of life is enhanced.
• The more your character is fortified, the more enabled you are to benefit from exercising the power of faith.
• Strong moral character results from consistent correct choices in the trials and testing of life.

To Acquire Spiritual Guidance:"By careful practice, through the application of correct principles, and by being sensitive to the feelings that come, you will gain spiritual guidance." 

Temple Worship: The Source of Strength and Power in Times of Need; "When we keep the temple covenants we have made and when we live righteously . . . , we have no reason to worry or to feel despondent." 

He Lives! All Glory to His Name!Our understanding of and faith in the Atonement of Jesus Christ will provide strength and capacity needed for a successful life.

• He has the capacity to communicate love that is so powerful, so overwhelming as to surpass the capacity of the human tongue to express adequately.
• When we obey a law, we receive a blessing. When we break a law, there is nothing left over from prior obedience to satisfy the demands of justice for that broken law.
• There is an imperative need for each of us to strengthen our understanding of the significance of the Atonement of Jesus Christ so that it will become an unshakable foundation upon which to build our lives.
• It is truly said that the most important callings in time and eternity are those of father and mother.
• The best way to make a permanent change for good is to make Jesus Christ your model and His teachings your guide for life.
• The Savior loves each of us and will make it possible for our every need to be satisfied as we qualify by obedience for all of the blessings He wants us to have on this earth.

Truth: The Foundation of Correct Decisions: "A knowledge of truth is of little value unless we apply it in making correct decisions."

Peace of Conscience and Peace of Mind: "For many, relief and happiness can come by understanding the relationship between peace of conscience and peace of mind." This is another one of my personal favorites.

Full Conversion Brings Happiness: Your happiness now and forever is conditioned on your degree of conversion and the transformation that it brings to your life.

The Power of a Strong Testimony: "Your personal security and happiness depend upon the strength of your testimony, for it will guide your actions in times of trial or uncertainty."

First Things First: "Do the best you can while on earth to have an ideal family. To help you do that, ponder and apply the principles in the proclamation on the family."

The Path to Peace and Joy: "Are you taking full advantage of the redeeming power of repentance in your life so that you can have greater peace and joy?"
