Jesus Christ Is God! He is our Savior and Redeemer and therefore the only way to the Father. Salvation is impossible without coming unto Him. The Lord is the first borne of Heavenly Father’s children and the only begotten in flesh on earth. Therefore, on earth Christ was both man and God. This magnified His power to feel pain.
The entire plan of God revolves around Christ and His Atonement! Without it all of us would be cast off in outer darkness to live with Satan for eternity in spirit form only without a body. The life and mission of Jesus Christ is the most important, and nothing else in this life is more important than this.
The Lord’s Atonement is infinite (immeasurable) in power and scope. Without the character of Christ the atonement would not have happened. His character was always outward focused. That is He thought about others even when He was in overwhelming pain. He never focused on Himself.
The Atonement is the greatest act of love ever demonstrated in the history of this world. There is no greater need than His love.
Everything depends on Jesus Christ!
Christ is a healer! He performed every kind of miracle imaginable and the greatest miracle of all is changing hearts. He can take a wicked man and make him righteous.
The Atonement was His most important mission, and He also came to preach the gospel and set up His church. His gospel is how we successfully make it through this life and to become like Him and return to our Heavenly Home.
His gospel is the world’s only hope to peace and happiness or joy. A world without His gospel is a world without light and with absolute fear. Hell is the only way to describe it.
The Book of Mormon will bring you closer to Christ than any other book and is the convincing power of Christ unto salvation. This book is the tool to build your foundation on Christ, which if you build you cannot fall. Additionally, Satan’s terror will have no power to bring you down.
Joseph Smith, the prophet of the restoration, said, "I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than any other book."
