President Howard W. Hunter
President Howard W. Hunter was born on November 14, 1907 in Boise Idaho. He was a Stake President and then ordained an Apostle in October 1959, and became the President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in 1988. In June of 1994 he became the Senior Apostle and Prophet of the Church, succeeding the death of President Ezra Taft Benson.
