The War In Heaven Vs The War On Earth January 26, 2018 |
Satan Was Never Going To Win And He Still Can’tBook of Mormon Marriage And Family Study2 Nephi 2: 17 “An angel of God, according to that which is written, had fallen from heaven; wherefore, he became the devil, having sought that which was evil before God.” The Council In HeavenHeavenly Father is the author of the Plan of Salvation and the plan required a Savior and Redeemer as the central feature of the plan. Jesus Christ voluntarily offered Himself as a sacrifice for all. Without Him all of us would be subject to Satan for eternity. However, Satan also had a plan and he wanted to dethrone God and so he started a rebellion or war. He was persuasive enough to attract a third of heaven who were cast out being denied their eternal progression. The war with Satan continues on earth; however, we must understand a couple of critical differences between the war in heaven and the wars we fight on this earth. For example, the war in heaven was not about who was stronger like it is down here. Satan could not have
overthrown God even though that was his goal. Overthrowing God was impossible.
