Trials Are Not The Real Problem

One of my friends gave a powerful talk in Sacrament meeting. I felt she opened her mouth and spoke miracles. She spoke about trials. My friend said our sins are the problem not the trial. The spirit hit me hard. The reason why I think this is powerful is because Satan seems to do a good job in getting us to think that if we are facing great burdens or have problems in our lives then there is something wrong with us. Satan wants us to blame God for our trials. Our sins are the only real tragedy in life.

Trials are actually there to make us strong and to help us put on the divine nature. Our sins are the thing to pay attention to. Understanding this truth gives you the power to have more patience and compassion with yourself. It will prevent you from running away from your trials but face them head on and give you greater motivation to repent.
