Jesus Christ Is How You Will Dwell In The Presence of God April 01, 2015 |
Jesus Christ Is How You Will Dwell In The Presence of GodThe Things Of My Soul“there is no flesh that can dwell in the presence of God, save it be through the merits and mercy, and grace of the Holy Messiah…” 2 Nephi 2:8 This verse says no flesh, and there are no exceptions to this rule. Consequently, NOBODY can reach the Father without Jesus Christ. Similarly, you can’t bypass Him, go around Him, go over or under Him. Finally, you can’t avoid Jesus Christ in any way. The day will come when every soul, will bow their knee and confess that Jesus is the Christ. This is the definitive and absolute truth, and there is no other belief that can change it. Many people determine what is truth and the right way of living according to what they think and how they feel. I guess that is the best you can do without the gospel; but the gospel of Jesus Christ is the code for living. We can only be saved through the merits of Jesus Christ. That is why no matter how much you give Him it will technically never be enough. However, He perfectly knows if you have given Him your all. Heavenly Father has a certain standard of living; and that is why He sent His Son, Jesus Christ. The prophets both ancient and modern are absolutely clear that no unclean thing can dwell in the presence of God. Our Father in Heaven is not a God of confusion or disorder; which is why He sent Jesus Christ to teach us and show us exactly how we should live. Hence, you can’t go wrong with Him. Without the perfect example and teachings of Jesus Christ, we would be left to our own best judgments on how to live.

There is nothing more important in this life or in this world than the gospel of Jesus Christ, as revealed by the Apostles and Prophets because it finds evil and wicked men and transforms them into good men, and good men into righteous men. Ultimately, the gospel of Jesus Christ is the world’s only hope for salvation, peace and safety.
