“And provide means whereby they can accomplish the thing which he has commanded them.”

In marriage we are commanded to be one, and God expects us to create an equal marriage. However, Satan has deceived many by twisting the events in the Garden of Eden when Eve partook of the fruit and caused the fall. Eve did not commit a sin! And Satan has made war on women because of this.

The prophets are very clear about this! Eve’s actions do not make the man superior to the wife. To be an equal relationship, husband and wife must make decisions together. Sometimes you might have to settle on a compromise, but never should the husband decide for his wife.

Jesus Christ is the perfect example of becoming one and in leadership. The only thing he cared about was doing His Father’s will. He would never pull rank, or make the final decision. Becoming one and united is about seeking out the Lord’s will and doing it.
