“Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them; otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.”

The reward of man vs the reward of God is no contest. Compared to God, man is nothing and the eternal blessings God has promised is beyond our comprehension. For example, Heavenly Father’s overall plan is to make us like Him. He wants us to do what He does and have His kind of life.

We can’t possibly comprehend what Godhood is like (i.e. creating worlds without number, and children); however, that is what the plan is all about.

Eternal life is the ultimate reward. However, there are other tremendous rewards for keeping covenants with Him here. Covenants are an invitation to a personal relationship with God.

Please stop and ponder that (a personal relationship with God) for a minute and let it sink into your mind and heart.
