Gospel knowledge increases your agency. Faith is a principle of power and by pondering the Book of Mormon our faith increases. We grow closer to Christ, and therefore have a greater desire to repent of our sins and overcome the world.

When we can see things in their true light, we make better choices and avoid the corruption of the world. Satan wants us to be miserable. However, we can overcome him with increased knowledge and agency.

What a great gift we can give our children!

Additionally, the introduction to the Book of Mormon, Joseph Smith said; “I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book.”

If your child is convinced that Jesus Christ is God, he will follow Him and walk with Him.
